Chris Davenport


Chris Davenport is a two-time World Champion skier who is widely regarded as one of the world’s most accomplished skiers and mountaineers. Chris is also an author, TV commentator and World Cup ski racing announcer, and professional speaker. In addition to being featured in over 30 ski films, he has skied numerous first descents of peaks around the globe and became the first person to ski all 54 of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks in less than one year, and the first person (along with his partners Christy and Ted Mahon) to ski Colorado’s hundred highest peaks. He was recently recognized as one of the National Geographic ‘Adventurers of the Year’ and in 2015 was inducted into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame. Chris serves on the Board of Directors of Protect Our Winters, The American Institute of Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) and Avatech.
