April 28, 2012
We learned this morning that our good friend Cory Richards has been evacuated from Everest (read the story). He was able to walk from Camp 2 to Base Camp on his own power. The helicopter was arranged by Cory’s friend and Gasherbrum II climber partner Simone Moro. Tomorrow Cory will go to Kathmandu for more tests. Our thoughts are with you, Cory!
